Greetings!
My name is Spiro Andritsis and I am master jeweler. I began making jewelry in 1975 in Modesto, Ca. I owned and operated a large service center called Gold Mill for nearly 30 years. I actually majored in electrical engineering which makes for a strange combination of talent. I have spent the last 10 years learning to design in several CAD packages including Matrix, JewelCad, and others, but have found the most enjoyment with ArtCam Jewelsmith. I created this blog to share some of the virtues of Jewelsmith with others, and hope that like me, many will find the pleasure and satisfaction of designing wonderful pieces of jewelry with this software. I have made great friends in this community including Randy Hays and Michael Buckley from ArtisanCNC and I can only thank them for their encouragement and direction.
